Stowe and the surrounding area abounds with things to do! Below is a list of ongoing activities and a calendar of events.

 May 18 - October
Stowe Farmer's Market
Operating every Sunday from late-May through October from 10:30am - 3:00pm, the Stowe Farmer's Market is a delight for the senses! Enjoy live entertainment while sampling wonderful artisanal foods and crafts. There are special events almost every Sunday, including local musicians playing folk, bluegrass or jazz. At various times there are craft and cooking demonstrations as well as other hands-on activities and petting zoos. The Stowe Farmer's Market operates Sundays, from 10:30 until 3pm (rain or shine) and is located on Route 108 (Mountain Road) across from the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa.

July - August

Art on Park
5:30 - 8:30pm. Each Thursday night on Park Street join 25+ Artisans selling their creative products. Jewelry, crafts, specialty food items, ceramics, fiber art, photography and more. Live music and local food each week. This event is weather dependant.

August 8 - 10
57th Annual Stowe Antique And Classic Car Meet
The Stowe Annual Antique Car Show is a perennial favorite in Stowe, Vermont. Over 800 antique & classic cars are on display. Food concessions, giant automotive Flea Market, Car Corral. Fashion judging contest and antique car parade through town.

August 9
Downtown Bob Stannard & Those Dangerous Bluesman
8:00pm at the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center.

August 9
Fun Run On Spruce Loop
Come on out and join the 2nd annual "Fun Run" on the new walking/running trails at Spruce Peak at Stowe Mountain Resort.

August 12
Gazebo Concert

On the lawn of the Helen Day Memorial Building. Free concerts on four consecutive Tuesdays at 7 - 8 p.m. Rainsite: Stowe Community Church.

August 13 - 30
Stowe Theatre Guild Presents "Secret Garden"
Orphaned and sent far from home, a young girl fears her life is over. But for Mary Lennox the greatest adventure of all begins when she enders "The Secret Garden". Wednesdays - Saturdays at 8:00pm.

August 15 - 17
Celebrate Vermont Festival
Celebrate Vermont is Vermont’s own party. August 15 -17, the Stowe Events Field, on Weeks Hill Road in Stowe, will again come alive with all that makes Vermont special – a celebration of its farms, forests, crafts, music, art, and an amazing array of freshly prepared authentically Vermont food. You can find the Celebrate Vermont Festival at the Stowe Events Field, just off the Mountain Road (Route 108) on Weeks Hill Road - 1/4 mile North of Stowe village. There will also be juried craft booths, artisan foods and beverages, music, workshops and more!

August 16
Hike Stowe Pinacle - Stowe Land Trust
Join this classic hike to the summit of the Stowe Pinnacle via Pinnacle Meadow. This quick, moderate hike affords some of the best views around, and if you’re lucky a nice, cooling breeze will await on the bald summit. Bring your own water and snack, wear sturdy shoes and be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Please meet at the Pinnacle Meadow parking area. 9:00 - 11:00 am.

Stowe Trail Race Series: Cady Hills 5K
Cady Hills single track trails behind Golden Eagle Resort, Mountain Road. Prizes, bib raffle, food. $20; $25 race day; $10 ages 16 and under. Benefits Friends of Stowe Adaptive Sports.

3rd Annual Darn Tough Ride

This year's scenic century bicycle adventure will once again see the riders complete a loop starting in Stowe, over Mt. Mansfield, to Jeffersonville, Eden, Belvidere and back over Smugglers Notch.The Darn Tough Ride features challenging ascents, exhilarating descents, and of course plenty of camaraderie.

Stowe Theatre Guild Presents "Kiss Me Kate"
Come join our band wagon of cool jazz, sleek lines, fantastic production numbers and quippy banter.  ’Kiss Me Kate’, next season’s 4th show slot at STG,  is the Bard’s ‘The Taming of the Shrew’, mixed in with strains of ‘High Society’ and ‘The Philadelphia Story’. Thursdays- Saturdays at 8:00pm, except SUnday matinees at 2:00pm.
